Amorebieta-Etxano

Amorebieta-Etxano is the most densely-populated town in Durangaldea. During the day, the town is a bustling hive of activity and its streets are filled with culture. Some of the best-known events that are held in Amorebieta-Etxano include the annual International Cross Country Race, the Jan Alai pintxo (bar snack) competition, the Haizetara international music competition and the various concerts held regularly in local churches and chapels.

Amorebieta-Etxano has several routes that pass through its rural neighbourhoods: four that lead to different 15th-16th century chapels and the PR-BI-74 Andrés Espinosa trail.

Amorebieta-Etxano also has many bars and restaurants serving delicious meals and dishes. The Boroa Restaurant, located in the neighbourhood of the same name, for example, has a Michelin star.
